Nightsun Searchlight

Often times for night shoots a Nightsun searchlight is installed for special circumstances relating to picture. The Nightsun searchlight is remotely operated by an independent operator who is in the cockpit during filming.

Microwave Transmitter

This Mirowave unit, transfers the picture to the ground, so it can be viewed live.

Luggage Pod

This luggage pod was painted white with temporary paint and used in the NBC MOW as a radiation detecting device called a GammaPod.

Rope Ladder

This rope ladder was used for the TV movie 'Underfunded' it attaches to a specialized sling system called the Belly band which is a dual attachment system designed to be fail safe as it is attached to the airframe in flight as well as the helicopters hook.

Shown here is the dual attachment points for the belly band system, one to the cargo hook and one to the belly band which is attached to the airframe.
