In September 2006 Jim Filippone was one of two pilots in Canada to be chosen to fly a very unique camera mount called The Circlevision mount. The project was filmed in Vancouver, Calgary,Toronto and Montreal. The end result was to update the Circlevision movie at the Circlevision Theatre at DisneyWorld in Orlando Florida. The film is to highlight key areas in Canada and is expected to viewed by tens of millions of people from around the world annually.

The specially designed camera which has the capability of filming 360 degrees using nine cameras had to be landed on a specially designed platform. Here crews help stabilize the aircraft to help ensure that the camera never made contact with the landing

With only inches of tolerance, Jim had to land perfectly every time.

With 9 film mags running at once, the crew only had 5 minutes of filming time in the air before a reload was needed. Reloading time was between 45 and 60 minutes.

Here crews move out of the way during lift off from the landing platform enroute to the City of Calgary.
